Timothy Atwood of Holtenwood Computing designs and creates computer graphics and fine web sites for artists, artisans and anyone else who appreciates a clean and visually appealing image.

The Holtenwood group was started in 1997 with the opening of the Holtenwood Gallery on Texada Island by Adriana Atwood-van Holten and Timothy Atwood. Adriana was born in Holland and her Dutch name "van Holten" literally means "from the wood". Timothy's last name Atwood of course means "at the wood". So in reality the name Holtenwood means "Wood/Wood". Cute eh?

Holtenwood Gallery continues to feature the artists and artisans of Texada, Powell River and the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. At the beginning of 2006 Adriana had to give up personal management of the Holtenwood Gallery due to health problems. The new owner has expanded the gallery with the addition of Cafe' Casita Mexican cafe and continues with the tradition of quality local art and other fun items. The same quality and selection of art plus great food means we are sure you will find Holtenwood Gallery well worth the visit to Blubber Bay on Texada Island.

Adriana Atwood - January 16, 1943 to December 9, 2007. Adriana succumbed to her 20 year battle with cancer. I know many of you were devoted to Jewellery by Adriana and Adriana's jewellery designs. If you were one of her devoted customers, special arrangements can be made to purchase her last remaining jewellery pieces with all proceeds donated to the fight against cancer. Or a donation may be made direct to the BC Cancer Foundation.
